2. Provision of the website and creation of log files

When our website www.stadler-spedition.de is accessed, the browser on your device automatically sends information to the server of our website, where it is temporarily stored in a log file. The following data is automatically collected and stored until it is automatically deleted:

• This is necessary pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR for the establishment, exercise or

• There is a legal obligation to do so pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. c GDPR, and

• This is necessary pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR for the handling of

contractual relationships with you.

4. Use of cookies

We use cookies on our website. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and stores on your device, such as a laptop, tablet or smartphone, when you visit our website. They do not cause any damage to your device and do not contain viruses, Trojans or other malware.

a) Tracking tools

The tracking measures listed below and used by us are carried out on the legal basis of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. With these tracking measures, we want to ensure the needs-based design and continuous optimization of our website. Furthermore, the tracking measures are used by us to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our offering for you. These interests are to be regarded as legitimate within the meaning of the aforementioned provision.

b) Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service of Google Inc. (https://www.google.de/intl/de/about/) (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereinafter “Google”), for the purpose of needs-based design and continuous optimization of our pages. In this context, pseudonymized usage profiles are created and cookies are used; see section 4. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website, such as

c) Google Adwords Conversion Tracking

We also use Google Adwords Conversion Tracking to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our website for you. Google Adwords places a cookie; see section 4, on your computer if you accessed our website via a Google advertisement.

These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of the Adwords customer’s website and the cookie has not yet expired, both Google and the customer can recognize that the user clicked on the advertisement and was redirected to that page.

Each Adwords customer receives a different cookie, so the cookies cannot be tracked across the websites of Adwords customers. The information obtained with the help of the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for Adwords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Adwords customers receive the total number of users who clicked on their advertisement and were redirected to a page equipped with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can personally identify users.

If you do not wish to participate in the tracking procedure, you also have the option of refusing the required setting of a cookie, for example by using a browser setting that generally disables the automatic setting of cookies. 7. Security of personal data

During visits to the website, we use the widely used SSL procedure, Secure Socket Layer, in conjunction with the highest encryption level supported by your browser. This is usually 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we instead use 128-bit v3 technology.
